Hard Maple Wok Chopsticks
Enjoy the beauty of our handcrafted wooden cooking chopsticks. This pair is made from the American Hard Maple species known as Acer Saccharum that grows in North America. Abundant in supply, its widely used from flooring to furniture, cutting boards to paper. Considered the king of the Acer genus due to it being stronger, stiffer, harder and denser than all other species of maple. Commonly named as Sugar Maple as its the same tree most often tapped for maple syrup production. It has a beautiful grain structure with an off-white cream color and laser engraves extremely well.
Each pair of cooking wok chopsticks are handcrafted from premium woods that are hand selected to be devoid of defects. Hand shaped using a horizontal belt sander, each stick is expertly made to have a matching taper from top to bottom. Finished with heat treated walnut oil that is FDA approved for everyone, waxed with a special blend, and hand polished for your enjoyment! The wood species is laser engraved on the skinny side of each chopstick for wood identification.
